Nintendo discontinues 3DS

Nintendo has discontinued the 3DS console after a lifespan of nearly 10 years, according to its Japanese website.

to be fair, been like that the last 2 years. Tried getting a battery a year or 2 ago was told it was discontinued

Oooh nice. The one I play with the most is a regular black/grey New XL. My wife has the older Pikachu XL. A couple of years ago we went on a coastal holiday, and literally had storms for 3 solid days. These two guys were a life saver.
My 3DS is still ok battery wise, but Pikachu is showing its age . I'm concerned about getting a replacement battery.
