Hey guys. I'm planning on buying a DS Lite, I've Already made up my mind and decided against da PSP. but now im just looking 4 fellow owners (although i don't have mine....YET!)

Got mine a while back..love it :)

Just need to get more games, can't wait for Zelda (obviously) and FF and such.

What games are you going for with the initial purchase?

Fire_Dragon, I brought my NDS (light) last month and I'm just in love with it - one of the best things I've done in a long time. I've already got 5 games : Sonic Rush, New Super Mario Bros., Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Super Mario 64 DS.

By the way, the cheapest I found the DS Light selling for was at BTGames (R1399), where are you planning to purchase yours from?

All are awesome, especially Animal Crossing and New Super Mario Bros. I'm now looking forward Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Final Fantasy 3 and the new Zelda.

PS: The PSP sucks, waaaay over-priced and isn't anywhere close to being as innovative as the DS. That's why it's outselling the PSP globally 5:1 (but unfortunately the other way around in this country).

I dont know where im going to purchase mine. Im looking 4 da cheapest possible (new), u say u found it cheapest at BT but there isn't one here in CT, maybe i'll do it throught da web.
Yeah everybody is Playstation mad in this country, my friend has a PSP, its cool an all but i'm still goin 4 da DS

Don't be Sony sheep, break the monotony. Try www.take2.co.za. Their games, prices and services are excellent! I ordered my Animal Crossing from them with no issues at all and they have a wide range of Nintendo DS games.

People may *think* that the PSP is cool, but it ain't. The only appealing thing is it's big screen.

Tnx 4 that. I was on take 2 before, but gna check again.
I dnt even like Playstation in the first place, Im a PC fan.
my friends believe in da PSP bt nt me I'll go 4 da DS. they worry bout little things like graphics, great games isn't judged by graphics, it plays a part yes, but a game can have the best graphics and still suck.

So i've thought about some games im gna get...
First off New SMB, Sonic Rush (im mad 4 Sonic) and Nintendogs.

When these come out i must get these 2...
FF, Pokemon Diamond, NFS Carbon.

And whats with Animal Crossing? It has some high scores.

Animal Crossing is awesome (look it up on wikipedia). It basically *like* The Sims, meets Pokemon, meets a Tamagotchi (yeah, it's really weird and hard to explain). You like in this little world with animals doing pretty much mediocre things, buying furniture, talking to people, digging up fossils, picking berries, collection Bells (the currency in the game), building up your town, making friends and catching insects and fish. There is just something so damn addictive about it that keeps you coming back for more. It can never be finished and is great to play for like 10mins (or less) a day and there is always something to do in your town. It's the game I've played most on my DS, well worth the money.

It is backwards compatible with GBA titles!
It comes in two colours!
It has two screens!
It has a touch screen!
It has Wi-Fi!
It looks sexy!
It's affordable!
It's adorable!
It's a Nintendo!
