It's a great vehicle. Looks are slightly out there, but I like it. Deal breaker for me was the size of the boot... and I wanted the CVT, which we don't get here.

Specs-wise it does quite darn well and according to the price it is outstanding, compared to similar vehicles or needs. Nissan does have excellent service in SA, well depends on workshop…

Nothing. Nissan B platform, with Nissan petrol engines and designed by Nissan in the UK. There is a 1.5L diesel available elsewhere, which is a Renault sourced engine

It seems to be a ladies car. I see very few males driving them.
When I look at the Nissan Puke it reminds me of women with thin waists and big hips.

I test drove one. Actually liked it a lot. Just a bit small. Almost no boot.

Looks are subjective. I like the looks. Doesn't look boring like every other car on the road.

Both Nissan and Merc are helping Renault (just as BMW is helping Peugeot).
Merc even has a Renault-built minivan thingy.... Merc wouldn't do it if it would damage their reputation.

Bought one for the wife about 6 months ago, she is loving it. Both of us like the looks and glad its not your conventional car. No problems at all with it, apart from boot space (then again we arent in need for lotsa space) and my gripe is you cant adjust steering wheel height...apart from that its a great car, good value for money.
