Nissan Tiida BCM lockout

Hi all,

As a follow up to:
http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/413406-Nissan-Tiida-Immobilizer-help!

Nissan informed me that because i tried to start the car more then 5 times the BCM module is in lockout state and i will need to replace it .

It seemed a bit weird that it is just locked out,without a way of unlocking.

Can you someone ,please confirm that is the BCM module is locked out, replacing it is the only solution?

Unfortunately most dealerships have a "don't care" attitude to the problem.
