Hi Guys

Anyone owns a nissan tiida visia. ?

looking for feedback !

Onething I cannot understand is that the Visia has only one airbag for the driver.

Thanks
DD

Sturdy engine on the Tiida. Lively and light on juice. My wife drives the Livina. Same engine.

Had one of these as a rental for a day. Drives well on suburban roads and on the motorway. Lots of room for tall drivers and good space for luggage.

Really sucks on dirt roads that have been churned up by armoured vehicles if that is one of your criteria.

Don't drive in a combat zone. Check.

Fugly but otherwise excellent car.

Seats VERY comfortable (like lounge suits) and the engine has got power ooomf than your average 1.6.

I also had a tiida for a rental a while back. Had it for a few days, and it was perfectly adequate. I'm over 1.9m tall and had no hassles fitting in. Did a few hundred km in it including a couple of mountain passes, and had no hassles.

My wife drives the 1.6. It's a good car, not small at all, I have my seat pushed way back when I drive and the Tiida is one of the few cars where somebody can sit behind me quite comfortably. If I could crit it for anything it's the gearing and ride height. The gearing yearns for an overdrive (6th gear), you get to 120 and you feel like you need to change gear, go a bit faster though and it's fine.

The ride height makes it quite a tall car and it becomes quite interesting to drive in strong cross-winds. The plus side to the high ride height is it hardly ever scrapes on any ramps etc. Not sure if the newer models have it but the lack of AUX or USB input is sorely missed with the OEM headunit.
