So I went to the one in Cpt.

On the whole it was very good. Just a few things that irritated me...

They don't tell you that the field seating (closest to Giganoramp) is set up such that you only see the skateboards, bmx's etc.
That's a major balls-up if you're mainly into FMX, MotoX like I am.
Remember you are sitting on a flat surface with other people in front of you. And you are basically looking up at the landing ramp, you don't get that aerial view.
And most likely, like my case, you have one ramp obstructing your view to the other.
One basically only see the last bit of the MotoX bikes, just before they disappear behind the ramp & land. You can't see the landing. Well that sucked!

Oh and then I paid almost R600 for that crappy seat. But wait, there's more.
Then you get this, what Discovery Health would call, morbidly obese, guy sitting on (erm no wait ...draped over) this plastic chair next to you. You have to lean to one side as the fatass is halfway onto your seat, which you can't move, because they are cable tied together!

So as I was only seeing half the show. After 10minutes I got up and went onto the 1st tier and stood behind one of the disabled people. (It's open access space) I had to stand the whole show, but could watch the WHOLE show. I felt very sorry for the people opting to just stay in their seats. That must have been very disappointing.

So Joburg and Durbs...if you have field seating tickets - flog those ASAP and try and get tickets on the opposite side of the Giganoramp.

With a show like that, who WOULDN'T want a nice far away seat to see all the stunts? Did you think this was some kind of concert where the closer to the action you were the better chance of the band noticing you and throwing you a guitar pick or something?

Shame...
I had an upper tier seat which was quite high up but first thing I thought when I got to my seat was that the people who paid to close to the action must be pretty pissed off.

I'm sure I had a much better view.

With ticket prices like that, my seating will be so far away, you might as well call it my lounge. And I'll stream a nitro circus event for me and the kids to watch.

...always one, ammiright?

Scored a VIP ticket from a buddy.
This allowed you to see the preshow warmup and some interviews.
TBH you can skip all that completely.
You couldnt leave the stadium either. We didnt know this.
We thought we could see the preshow about4pm-5:30pm, then head out and come back later in the evening for the main show at 8:30pm.
Nope, we were stuck there, good thing we had warm clothes and cash otherwise it was going to be a long cold evening with nothing to eat or drink.
The show was pretty cool but if I go again a regular grand stand seat will be just fine.
