No BFBC2 servers anymore

I just wanted to know and make sure it's not just me. but i can't seem to find any local servers. i find like 1 tops or maybe even 2. is there a problem with the local servers?

I have the same problem. As far as I can tell its not the servers but rather our clients.... Re-installing the new patch should help (don't know it for a fact), but I'm not wasting another 1gb of cap on this game unless its the end of the month...

This usually happens when you don't use the icon created at installation which first checks for updates and then goes into the game. So run the updater and it should fix your problem.

It turns out it is the update. i dont use that client coz it is terrible at updating and when it fails it start over again. pathatic.

You can download it from wage's ftp site. its a sort of manual update where you just extract the zip content in your BFBC2 folder. works much better

The thing is I use the BC2 launcher that checks for updates. It updated my game, I even played a few rounds over 2 days after the patch but since then I couldn't see the servers. So that patch will just have to wait. Have a rogue to level

I wasted almost 2 gigs on failed updates, then I realized that you can get the manual installer.

As for servers, there is always at least 2 full servers, I mostly play at iGame Hokum/Comanche.

I also tried some UK servers, and got amazing pings of +-350 as opposed to +-150 locally. It really felt smooth and hardly any different than locally. And this is on my 384k line.

i know hey played on an US server once although there was a slight lag i could still pwn some of the guys there. I play mostly SGS they have a lot of players but their servers suck sometimes (lag spikes galore)
I wonder why WAGE hardly ever has players on :/

Yea i do to, they have awsome servers (very little lag and good admins)
