Hey guys

Problem:
My brothers Dell laptop just started having ''Disk Read Errors'' today.
He attempted to install windows again via Flashdisk (no cd-rom) but this game to ''No bootable partition in table''.
Ive look all over the internet for a solution and they all relate to buy a new laptop, replace HDD or HDD is gone.
My brothers Years project for University is on that HDD and he's streesing big time. Is there a possible fix for the HDD/Laptop or is there a place that can recover his project for him or a simple way to recover it.
Specifically in Bloem.
Any help will be appreciated.

EDIT: He needs the project by Tuesday. Oh and its a Dell EEE PC don't know exact info though.

Chances are the HDD might be on its way out.

Before you run spinrite, create a knoppix boot disk, boot with it, and try to copy the important files over to USB stick first... then try spinrite.

Soz for double post
But what type of harddrives do these EEE pc's use I may want to replace it.
I think the laptop is a Dell Inspirion Mini 9
