Please help!!

Woke up this morning with no cellular service on my Samsung S3 at all. Signal indicator on the pull down menu indicates Emergency Calls Only. Rebooted my phone and re inserted the sim. :(

Had the same problem about 3 weeks back on MTN.
Supposedly my number was removed from the network, no reason given.
Took about 5 working days before they could get it going again :(

So I must contact Vodacom. :(

Trying to select Vodacom from the available networks, gives me the following message: "Can't connect to this network right now. Try again later."

Could also mean that your IMEI has been blacklisted.

Are you the first owner?

Just called Vodacom and everything seems fine on their side including the IMEI.

Could be the sim that is buggered. Will have to find someone with a micro sim to test.

Yes, I'm the 1st owner.

Yip, it's the sim. Will have to go to Vodashop to do a sim swop.

Apparently it's a issue affecting quite a few clients. They suggest I wait till tomorrow for the issue to be resolved.

Still unable to connect to the Vodacom network. :(

Went to the Vodashop in the Picbel Parcade & the technician confirmed that it is a widespread issue and that I must wait it out, WTF.

I'm paying for a damn contract I cannot use. Bloody useless.

Cannot believe I'm the only one affected by this on MYBB.
