iBurst is delivering our modem sometime today and they say anyone on the premises can sign for the modem as there is no contract to sign.

Is that right??

What if they deliver to the wrong address? Are they even going to ask proof of ID?

:/

What iBurst package did you choose?

hehehe, yeah, that is the norm. I only signed my debit order form way back when

Yes, that's the way it goes. They won't get your address wrong, don't worry about it. If they do, it's on their heads anyway. You'll only have to sign the delivery form, and voila, the modem is yours. ;)

Yeah they almost made it to the right house. Luckily my neighbours are honest ppl. And who sends you a modem with the username and password in the box? :O

Damn, you've got very honest neighbors!

A 6GB package, with username & password in the box...

So, you're online?

Yeah it works, but I'm still using my sentech gigs till the end of the month :P

JHBGirl - you have 6 full gigs to use for november, they'll reset it to 6 again on 1 December.

Also, you were probably expecting the whole sentech sign everything and make it as unpleasant as possible experience, iBurst is much more chilled. I remember we had to lick sentech's backsides just for the privilege of their crappy service.

Edit: I wish I was richer so I could afford the higher capacity packages, I usually hit my 1G by the second day of the month.

Um, actually you have the full 6 gigs to use for October as well!!

Dont let them go to waste..

Unless your username and pas are only for November, but I'd think if you already have the username it would be active.

donovan: you might as well get the 3 gig package, it will only cost you R200 more than your current rate. its much better value for money.

Um, you didn't think jhbGIRL might be a she?

Well I assume your talking about here in that post... or then again maby it is a he.

That 1gig package for R389 is actually a very good deal considering what you can get from that.

Some of the DC++ downloader guys do 30 gigs every month for just R389. You cant even get 384kb ADSL with 3 gigs for that can you?

ehv: i misunderstood the post. i thought it was someone else who posted and not jhbgirl. thats why i edited it lol.
