It's about 12 hours to go until petrol and diesel prices should increase and there still isn't an offical notice up at the CEF or Energy Department.

Petrol should increase by 65c/l and diesel by 56c/l: https://www.cefgroup.co.za/phocadownload/Daily_updates/2021/February/Daily 25-02-2021.pdf

Does anyone know what's causing the delay. The last time that it was this late was June 2019: https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/thr...e-extremely-late-notice-of-increases.1031223/

The update only came out after 12:10pm: https://www.cefgroup.co.za/phocadow...ss Release 26 Feb 2021 Change 03 Mar 2021.pdf

Yes
Petrol prices get adjusted the first Wednesday of EVERY month
It's been like this since Cecil John Rhodes went to visit Dingaan back in the day

Surely you must know this by now?

I do, that's why I find this situation odd. The announcement usually comes out the Friday or Monday before the first Wednesday of a month.

petrol will increase by 65 cents on Wednesday, 3 March.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel will rise by between 54 and 56 cents a litre and illuminating paraffin will cost 47 cents more a litre.

LPG will cost 87 cents more per kilogram.

Finally out, though far later than it should be: https://www.cefgroup.co.za/phocadow...ss Release 26 Feb 2021 Change 03 Mar 2021.pdf
