Well, lets lay it down, iv been a COD fan my whole life, my online experience started with COD, and is still on COD (Black Ops, Prestige 10), and all fairness story mode is suberb no matter the length and epic, but im going to be honest and this is a personal view, i haven't even thought twice of per-ordering this title, yeah sure story mode will be amazing i presume, but im sure any normal/realistic gamer, IE, not a fanboy of the COD series, will admit, a simple copy and "touch-up" of the game and its graphics is not going to hold interest for much longer

Battlefield 3 simply looks amazing, videos on the alpha stage, although still unpolished, look amazing, sound, graphics, story, online, perky comments and a unique feel have got me to the point that i want the PC and console versions, and this is beyond the pride i have in call of duty for an amazing series but its time to step up the game and i for one am walking battlefields way...

I just cant shake how terrible BF BC2 was.... (multiplayer). I'm going to hold on BF3 till it gets debugged! But then again BLOPS was a absolute fail on release! Multiplayer was not ready - was like we were beta testers! But I'm in full swing of it now (prestige 14). Since BLOPS, I have not looked back, infact I love the NFS titles, DIRT titles & Crysis, yet I only purchased Crysis 2 and have not even bothered finishing it... always go back to BLOPS... But its the community that really makes it in my opinion!

I've uninstalled all my games (except BFBC2) in preparation for BF3. I'll never play them again once BF3 lands ...

Yeah, playing in leagues like NGL and HC NGL takes the game to a whole new level of fun...

BC2 is terrible? You need help i'm afraid.

Oops, I saw you have a Uber PC and obviously played it on PC. BC2 is and was a console game. Was ported to PC to keep the PC whiners happy.

Oops, I saw you're from KZN and obviously are a sun-dried console jockey with no grasp of what decent gaming actually is. Battlefield originiated on PC's and migrated to keep console whiners happy first.

See what I did there? I judged you based on a tiny bit of information like you just did to IRG.

At the end of the day if its an FPS its better on PC. /end.

Battlefield 3 will return the series to its roots I hope, gonna be great
