Hello,

I really hope you can help.

I just bought some WAX Tokens from waxtoken.com and it asked me to create a wallet on Jaxx.

I created an ETH wallet on Jaxx and copied the address.

On waxtoken.com there were two options for ETH addresses. Ethereum and ShapeShift. I pasted the address in to the ETH address and not the ShapeShift ETH address. It was only later that I see that the ETH address I created on Jaxx was actually a ShapeShift Address, I thought it was a normal ETH address.

Are the two different? Is a ShapeShift ETH address different from a normal ETH Address? Did I lose my money now?

Please help and many thanks.

Chris

Go to: https://etherscan.io/
Enter your Jaxx ethereum address at the top.

You should see a tab called 'Token Transfers'.
Under than you should see the WAX token you transferred in.

If you see nothing try again with the Shapeshift address you used and see if anything turns up.

Bit of a long shot but worth a try to see if you can trace it down. I've never tried etherscan on a jaxx ETH address but I'm assuming it's open to etherscan.
