Clueless...
Pheww!!!
And there I was thinking it was another Web Intact issue....
I have been trying to connect to international sites the whole eveing....
I called the Web Intact 'help desk' and they asked for my ip address, then mentioned that somebody was downloading 'like crazy' from that IP (it was McAffee that was updating at that point). I was then asked to switch off the firewall....
Riiiggghtt....
LOL
Then i told him that it was a HTTP500 internal server error, at which point I was told that the problem was on my PC....
He said he wanted to restart their server, and asked that I phone back in 20 minutes....
When I phoned back, the guy was really confused. Now not even he could connect....
This time i was told he will get help and I should phone again in 20 minutes....
20 minutes later the 'help desk' phone was on voice mail....
I then connected to this forum to continue my Web Intact rant and found these 2 posts....
