Recently my Internet just went dead. The dsl and all the other lights are on except for the Internet light(not even red). I don't know whether the problem is the router, telkom or mweb. Since my line is with telkom and my account with mweb. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Double-check all your details on the router such as username and password.

Does your phone work?
Have you checked the config and account info in the router and on your PC?
Are all the cords, cables, leads and physical connectors correctly plugged in and working? Unplug and reseat them.
Is your internet account at your ISP still active?
Have you asked Telkom to check your connection at the DSLAM/exchange?
Did a puff of smoke come out of your router after you washed it?

Just switch it off for 5 minutes.
I tried entering 10.0.0.1 and nothing happened.So I lit myself a cig and opened a cold one.Then it came to me the address is different on the trendnet router I'm currently using.Then after the first hurdle I checked and saw my username and password some how vanished.I re-entered them and what do you know everything is fine.Thank god for beer I think that was the problem
