No internet

Hi everyone,

My E220 Vodafone modem connect but i can not open any web pages. I did re-install IE7, upgraded the modem software, stop the anti virus, fone 155, fiddle with some settings but no internet even use another E220 that works on another laptop. PLEASE can some one help?

Can you ping www.mweb.co.za?

If not, can you ping 196.2.63.110 then?

If you can ping Mweb's IP but not its URL, then you might have a DNS problem, and you can try to use OpenDNS's DNS servers to see if it solves your problems.

Their servers are :

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

if i put in the ip i can open the webpage but not the url.

Then you have DNS issues.
