So it definitely does seem the ANC has canned the Kelvin Power station from offsetting load shedding. Typical allow the country to burn while falsely stating they will allow IPPs.

Judging by the very specific timing, it looks like they ran out of diesel again?

Probably, but they are saying they lost an additional 3 units.
Technically, if the diesel turbines run out of fuel or need maintenance, I guess having those go down would be counted as generating units.

 Swines, there goes work from 08:00 - 12:30.

Utter waste of a day. If I knew earlier I would've stayed at home because I cannot do a damn thing when the power goes at work.

I've just pulled the trigger on getting inverter plus batteries. Thanks Eskom. Another form of tax because of a completely mismanaged country; courtesy of the ANC.

JUST %$#%$#%$#%$# DIE EISHKOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not too bad slots I've got. Considering I work during the week, my great concern are the 6-8.30PM and 8-10.30PM slots. I've got the 6-8.30PM slot tomorrow though and likely on Sunday, which really sucks (great way to end a weekend!)

Those slots suck, last week we kept getting either 4pm to 8.30pm or 8.30 to midnight.
