So many speedtest servers but not one pingtest server, can one of the local ISP's pitch in and host one please?

Crystalweb, AH, WA....anyone with a dedi server.

Pinging and doing a pingtest are to different things, such as showing jitter and such.

Nope, asked Ookla last year and they are not interested it seems, didn't give any reason.

No Ookla refused.

Also wanted to host it. They declined, no answer
duh. If they let random people host it on connections of unknown quality then the results lose their credibility. The fact that most mirrors are hosted by major ISPs/telecoms Cos isn't exactly an accident...

I wrote a very comprehensive request it would have been hosted by a very big corporation who I will not name and it would have been a spare dedicated server inside teraco.

Not exactly the average joe approach

Same, would also be on Teraco and they declined. Their response sounded like they didn't want to(possibly Java issues)
