No Love for Ronaldo

Where has all the love for Ronaldo gone?

He surprised me this season, I thought he would take at least a season to fit into the setup of his new league but he proved me wrong.

What I want to know is, where are all the Ronaldo supporters that used to ARGUE that he was better than Messi bla bla bla. Now you dont hear a single user even mention that he is the best in the world.

Is there no love for him cos he doesnt play in the EPL? :)
 
I guess people care less because he isn't in the EPL.

When a team has such a big budget, buys all the mad players, then loses to Lyon... people don't care as much :)

Before Madrid lost to Lyon, nobody cared to mention anything about his crazy goals, superb breaks in midfield and mad free kicks.

Everybody knows im not a Ronaldo supporter, just find it weird that everybody couldnt stop rating him as being the best player on the planet and would argue for HOURS about it.

All of the guys on this forum used to rant and rave how good he is, and suddenly he plays in La Liga, nobody even applauds his performances.

Sad.
 
guess the quick answer is that its because few people in SA follow La Liga...

There are so many great players in La Liga that EPL boys have never heard of.

Lay off the crack dude. Messi totally OWNED Ronaldo last season and is busy OWNING him again this season.

Need I remind you that Messi won the FIFA World Player of the year with a record number of votes.

Better than Messi my ass.

SS shows quite alot of La Liga matches actually.
 
Spain is rated no.1 in the world, are one of the top favourites for the World Cup this year, beat England comfortably and are also the current Euro champs. Yet nobody watches La Liga. Oh well. ;)

I also dont get why people dont watch it, 98% of the Spanish National team play in La Liga.
 
I was so hoping for a real madrid v united game in the CL this year, purely to see the reactions and how utd fans handle his rolling around, diving, and crying like a lil girl antics

but that aside, 2 years ago when he had the season of his life, he was better than Messi, Cantera

YOu could say the same thing in 2006 when 100% of Italians played in Italy ;)
