Yeah, there was a 9gig update on Steam too. Hopefully, this resolves the "Community" research issue and allows people to continue and complete the expedition.

Rather short expedition, almost completed it in one sitting.
Might be interesting to find the swarm ships back in normal play with my overpowered Corvette.

I expected as much, did the start of the 3 type of missions, then went to bed.
But that is something I cant really complete so yeah. What I might try is to join all 3 factions.
My Xbox is Weaver, will try and get the other 2 on PlayStation and Switch. Just need to investigate how you can make the a happen.
Edit: Nevamind. Seems like its a roll of the dice. Questions are just a filler

Anyone been playing each day to do the 3 missions? I lost interest but would might try it again if they reduced the reset time from 8 hours. I might forget to finish this expedition if not reminded, especially if we have to wait ages for the core to be built.

Yeah, I did a few and got bored. Went back to my main save. I was hoping the latest update would address the community build issue, but it didn't.
Tried all three with multiplayer on. Oh, what a clusterf*ck that was.

Yeah no that kinda sucks, not so much the missions, the artificial time gate. Instead of doing say 20 of each and progress you get 3 a day for endless days. Nope not interested. Sadly I used my main account to enter so that gonna slow things down.
Also not planing to start Expedition on other saves.
Lucky I popped 20 Nav beacons into my transfer so it gives me something to do otherwise. With that I already farmed enough living slime to unlock the Omega Starborn runner, so dont have to run around with slow-ass base ship.
yeah the time thing sucks but I guess if it was a free for all then a smaller group would get it all done fairly quickly? I also upgraded to my favourite utopia speeder from the Quicksilver merchant!
My trick for getting nanites was collecting salvageable scrap cause those corvette parts sell for a LOT. Jump to a pirate system and buy lucky packets (suspicious tech/arms) and sell them to the other merchant. Used the nanites to upgrade that wasp multi-tool to S class as well.

For the nanites, I usually take 2 or 3 slots off the runaway mould and stage two personal refinery with me. Makes it quick to transfer the ship and multi-tool from the main save into the expedition.
I kinda like working for it hehe. I did have some nanite things to transfer, think hadal/larval cores and hypnotic eyes.

Actually great till you hit the 3 mission part where you cant progress till community based progress bar fills up.
