Who the hell still used Internet Explorer instead of Edge?

I thought they killed it years ago already.

Nah it's just hearsay... Also 2001 called and asked for Windows XP back.

Our SSL VPN needs Java, and unfortunately IE is pretty much one of the only browsers that still supports it. Tried different plugins and whatnot, and closest is Firefox, but the plugin is no longer supported. The platform runs fine on Secret Server, but I’m still trialling it and the cutover won’t be anytime soon, so come 15 June there are going to be a LOT of people who are going to be unable to connect.

Not supported does not mean it will be deleted (one hopes).

I would rather use a grater for toilet paper than use IE or Edge lol

We still need to support IE in our software. Apparently there are some corporate customers who still use only IE for some reason or other.

It's because they are using outdated frameworks and don't want to spend money on development to update to be compatible with newer browsers. Probably Flash-based stuff.
