I've just phoned Telkom and cancelled my DSL service.

They charged me a R178 'downgrade fee'!

Only reason I still have ADSL is because I'm sharing with 2 other friends via wifi WDS thus the line rental is reduced to 33%.
With 8ta's "hulk promotion" only heavy downloaders still need ADSL.

boat I am in at the moment, seriously considering dropping the approx. R690 Telkom ADSL thingie for the R207 per month Eita special.
