No notifications on lockscreen after Oreo update (P10 Lite)

Hello guys. Ever since phone updated to Oreo my notifications dont show up on the lock screen. I cant find a setting for it anywhere either. Any of you have the same issue or advice? It is irritating as hell not being able to see my notifications without having to unlock the phone first to see what app it is etc.

settings -> system & device -> notifications & status bar

Then enable 'show on lockscreen'

Is yours a Huawei P10 Lite cause I dont have that on my phone?

nah, but thought it should be the same. It must be somewhere .... I got a showme (xiaomi)

I think you have to go into each app's notification settings to turn on lock screen notifications for that app

Found this... not sure if it will work.

Yes you can in setting go to apps
Special access app
Battery optimization
Select all apps
Then turn off for every app you need to get notified form
That's it

Lock screen notifications

Mine was already enabled.....so disabled it....rebooted.....went back and enabled it again.....now it is working.

Ja....bit weird. Why not not put it in the main screen instead of having a burger menue with one option just for that? Oh well.
