If its not stolen, get a police clearance and register. You take your chances. If it's stolen you lose it, if not you score a nice bike. Otherwise, ride it dodgy and fcck off the other way when you see the pigs. The narcos won't follow you very far off road in this country before they snap their suspension. Speaking from experience here. Cops don't chase bikes.
