Hi all,

I was wondering if someone here could provide some assistance in the following matter:

A mate of mine purchased a speedstick with data from CellC in Tygervalley.
after a few days of unsuccessfully being able to connect, he returned the device and requested a refund on his purchase.

After much much arguing a refund was granted. However he is still waiting for the money to be deposited back into his account, which has been 3.5months now. He is literally at his wits end at the moment.

Can anyone please help pointing him in the right direction to get this issue resolved?
Many thanks

PM me the persons coordinates and we will sort it out. Thanks

Lars

I am getting more and more scared everyday, I am at the point of having to purchase a Cell C stick for mobile Internet access, but with all the complaints and problems I see on MyBB and Hellopeter I am damn scared! Will I will be another one caught with my pants down? Seems they have a defunct system with hardware failures, lack of support when there are serious issues and a network in the process of folding or falling over.

What other options are there?

@MegasXLR - Yes they have there problems but its a learning curve for them & they are definately trying to sort all major problems.
We just have to be patient. I was one of those going crazy, but have come to live with it & it is getting better.
And at the price its going, you wont find anything better right now.
Its saved my ass a few times as i use it for work & that has made up for most of the problems i get with it.
But it still has its problems & i believe CellC will get it right. MTN & Voda did, so why cant they!

Agreed,
I think Voda, MTN & Telkom could learn a thing or two from CellC when it comes to customer service and pricing. Of course there are a few hiccups along the way as with any big business for sure.
I do know that when my current Voda voice contract expires I'm going to move across to CC, just 'cause of the great service I've had from their Pinelands & N1 City branches (and you can't beat that data price!)
