No screw to mount M.2 drive

Hi guys.

I brought an M.2 NVMe HDD. The box it came in had no mounting screw so I can't mount it to the motherboard. Am I supposed to get the screw with the motherboard or the M.2 HDD? Not sure where to from here.

Yeah, the screw was already in the M.2 slot on the board, had to remove to insert the drive then secure the drive with the screw.

Intel also dont include a screw for their NVMe's

And there wasnt one that was on the laptop mobo, bloody stupid of them not to include any.

Yet my Chinese Hikvision NVMe came with 3.

Also check if there is a riser that goes with it.

That looks like them. They do vary (a bit) between motherboards.

I found that the screws laptops use for their bottom panels fit the M.2 socket. Just as well I had a few around.
