Hi my adsl is no longer working, Here goes ... Sat night browsing gtplanet forums.... then bang no internet...
My router is connected the lights show its connected
my router menu shows its connected but no internet acess...
the dns and ip adresss fields are blank, ive reset my router, reinput my isp login info, unplugged everything,did a sysytem restore to no avail!
my os is Windows 7
im on a 384k line, my isp is Nexus, and my dsl rental is by telkom,My router is a netgear DG834GT No faults from telkom or Nexus, will call telkom again after work to find out if they know what they are doing....
Im getting worried only five days till GT5 !!!
Do you think my router could be screwed ? it and my telkom telephone does work {dont really want to buy a new reouter}
Scratch the above it works now but for some strange reason it stops working when I restart my pc
then I have to reset my router input all my isp login details again and then it works again, what gives is it windows 7 or my router ?
