No signal on replacement sim

Good day everyone, my girlfriend recently lost her sim card and received a replacement yesterday. The problem is there's completely no signal ever since yesterday and this is completely abnormal as the sim card was delivered by RAM. Is there anyone who can assist because support takes time to respond and we need to use it.
