Nicely said.Those cell tower batteries also wear out with repeated load shedding. My router has a UPS and it would remain connected to my LTE tower as long as that had backup power too. I noticed last year when we were on stage 4 that the tower would no longer make it through the 2 hour load shedding period and would die at about an hour and a half.
Remember those tower batteries also need time to charge back up after an outage and aggressive load shedding does not give them enough time to do so.
Load shedding is a battery killer.
