Hi can anyone help, i'm having trouble receiving any sms on my D-Link modem. i can send an sms to any number and it goes through i even get the delivery confirmation, i tried the following
1 reinstall windows 7
2 fresh install d-link connection manager
3 phone call centre for help (they say my account is working fine
4 put the sim in a phone and i get the sms
5 put another sim on any other or same network and i dont get the sms
6 tried different connection managers eg. mdma etc. no luck
7 upgrade firmware
8 plug modem into other computer
9 plug modem with different networks on other pc still no luck
10 checked the sms centre number with service provider all is same
none of the obove worked
my modem model is
DWM-156 HSUPA 3.75G USB ADAPTER
on a telkom sim card
please anyone i really need to get sms's on this modem
