Can't seem to receive any OTPs from fnb or some people trying to sms me.

Tried a hard reboot? Some phones still share the their GSM modems with SMS and data. The data connection can cause the SMS part of the modem to lock up until a hard reboot.

I've had this endless times happen to me over the years.
