No Telkom Infratructure in my complex

I have recently moved into a new complex (Ballito area) and there is no Telkom infrastructure. I applied for a Telkom Simple plan with free router etc. which I was expecting to be installed today.

So now I need to find some other solution. My mifi device from Afrihost is showing a yellow network signal with very poor speeds.

Any advice on what I should look at? I will be looking at Cell C and Telkom Mobile coverage this weekend and then go from there.

Also, does anyone know if the Huawei B593 router will work on all networks for 3G and LTE? Thanks for any advice guys.

Maybe ask some of your neighbours or the body corporate what other people are using in the complex. There may be an option like a gated village solution or something you could link into

I have no affiliation with any of the above and cannot vouch for their products. I've only used a compueasy hotspot at a certain venue and that was slow as molasses and the owner said support from them was useless.
If you do consider any of those I suggest you sign up on a short trial basis and don't take long contract.

Cellular reception & speeds are generally good here but once again I would advise you get cheap sims to test out the different operators before committing to one. I know my mate dropped mtn for cellc where he stays and he says he gets much better speeds than mtn, I would also test 8ta.

Telkom also has a fixed line lookalike service but I don't know if it's available in the area,
