No Vodacom or Cell C

It's probably the base stations again.
They need to spend more $'s on the network ... 'bout $150 b should do. :cool:

:D

/me blames apartheid agents looking to bring SA into disorder, or mebbe it's the mist (aka Eskom)

Same problem in Rivonia, JHB, and in CPT (not sure where exactly in cape town the person is)

If it is number portability that's causing the problems then either MTN and CellC are not implementing it or Vodacom made a mistake with their implementation of it. Perhaps it has something to do with their new DVB-H license, they could be trying to "upgrade" their network to make it work.

Me to, rosebank, can't call out, can't recieve calls (landline or cell.).
Can't even call 082 111 (customer care) from a landline.

from my cell I just get the "network busy" message.

p.s., the same problem with all other vodacom phones we've tried.

Crashed................

Called MTN they say teh Vodacom network has crasssssssssshed landed!!!!!!!!!!:eek:

Heard on the radio that Vodacom has crashed. My friends can make calls from MTN and Cell C.

And Vodacom tries tuning ICASA that they don't need more regulations? They should be fined. Me and all 3 other family members numbers are engaged :/

Vodacom = rich losers

I was on a phone call at like 2:30 and the call was cut and my network name disappeared. Came back online after a phone reboot, but couldnt make any phone calls. Kept saying network busy.

same here - no vodacom - Network Busy.

Maybe it is just a "small percentage" of subscribers?

Don't think so. Try calling Voda customer service 082111 from a landline - doesn't work. I've tried 082,072 and 076 numbers. Looks like the whole network is down.
