I'm on V100 postpay and I'm not getting service now. At all.

Firstly, I stopped receiving VRewards about 4 months ago. I spent at least R600 every month for the last couple of months (over R700 last month) and didn't get any VRewards. What's up with that?

Then, about a week ago, my GPRS/EDGE stopped working completely. It still connects, but I can't send or receive any data. So I manually selected Vodacom towers and regained use of GPRS (not EDGE) for a while

Finally, since two days ago, whether on manual or automatic network select, my signal perdiodically disappears completely ("No service"), regardless of where I am or what phone my SIM is in. I could be standing next to a Cell C tower and the signal would disappear every 5 minutes.

So now I'm still paying for the V100 plan, but I'm not getting service. So now I wonder what exactly I'm paying for?

Id say if your really into virgin mobile go get a sim swap, virgin mobile has like 5types of sim cards. My pre-paid sim acts like its on a contact...could be the result of the sim being faulty
-the no vrewards
-edge/gprs
etc

Otherwise i cant defend virgin,my one friend had a sim that totaly froze the phone(take it out placed another network and the phone works like nother ever happened!) Had the same problem on my razer2...

Did you call customer support before your post here? What did they say? Are you sure your phone is correctly set up?
