I've been on WiMAX for almost 3 months now, and I'm not receiving any bills? Should I call telkom or just leave it?

Well I would say you should find out before you get a very bad tasting bill from them... or you could just take the chance and see how far you could suck them dry...

mmm, trying to call telkom to find out if I have an outstanding balance, but it's such a freaking mission to get through...screw that...

ROFL!!!!!!!!!

SharkBait you skelm bugger! I wanted to PM you and ask if you receive a bill every month, lol...

For how long have you had your WiMAX? Remember you offered to show me your "WiMAX" :D

I never received a bill in the beginning also!!! Now I pay with a smile and wave though!!:D Just because I'm happy with the service...............................

Same with me, No bill now for 3 months. After numerous phone call to telkom some woman called me for my details. But up to now now bill yet.
The problem is that they eventually will get to you and then you sit with 5 or 6 month's money you have to pay
Event though I think Wimax is great I still think Telkom is one of the worst companies out there to deal with.

Guys Guys

I was in the same boat never got a bill then I got a shocker .
Phoned them countless times, no one knows how to work with
a WIMAX bill.
No one knows WTF wimax is.

Anyways so i get a call from the lawyers MR Blah.....blah...telkom
has handed you over pay or die..type thing.
So i was WTF i never got a bill i called your K@K call centre number
of times and no one could help me....

Bottom line pay your bill....they `n bunch of n.....

I got a call a month ago after 6 months of no bills.
Nasty amount I had to pay them with all the interest.
I had them "correct" my address, that they did not have, so they say.

Still no bill 2 months down the line.
Getting smssses saying I owe them like 2K or something even after paying what I owed.

Will give feedback on Monday after I go the "proudly South African" way of doing things... Screaming at all the telkom callcentre people until they hand me over to someone that knows what goes on in that f$^kd up place and have that person do something about the situation.

Built up 2 months worth of peak-time minutes to sit on my cell waiting for them to answer.

Same here, got the call this morning. R2107.03

Asked for an invoice to be mailed. Still waiting... :D

How can they hold you responsible or even hand you over to lawyers if you haven't received a bill? Isn't there some form of law regarding legal advice being called in stating something down the line of: both parties must be aware of the charges etc. etc.?

Get your own lawyer and sue them for negligence and poor service!

Gents,
You all appear to be intelligent people. I am surprised to see these comments - you use the service pay for it.

Surely you are aware of the terms and conditions which apply to you using this or any other communications service. Regretfully these favour the provider - when Vodacom turns off towers do you get a credit from them becasue you cannot supply service - do you get a credit when they drop your call??

You are lucky that you haven't had a tech arrive at site to simply remove the equipment - remember it belongs to Telkom
