After reaching my 3 gig cap halfway through the month and nearly battling to get some help from ANYONE at Telkom on how to purchase another 3 gig, i discovered www.nocap.co.za. In contrast to the poor service at Telkom, Nocap's technical manager Jason was friendly and efficient and I readily subscribed to his Nocap platform. He sorted me out with Nocap within a day. This was a real boost after days of fruitless searching for help at Telkom. And I've had absolutely no problems. Thanks Jason, I hope others who have a similar problem will find you. Maybe Telkom will realise one day that good service is the cornerstone of great business!

strange the people who price nocap only post once..
I have send a couple of e-mails with no REPLY maybe just my luck or something else

Hi

Jgoosen : I checked my mail and havent found a request. I will try to send a mail to you that you could reply on. I do try to get all requests out the same day i recieve them. Maybe there was a problem with my mail that day.

Thanx for the vote of confidence Bandwagon.

Janson just a Question what speeds can we expect over peak times...??and can we use it for internet cafe???

Hi

On average when the server is busy speeds of around ISDN and up can be expected. I have a couple of users that have more than one PC per line, so i would expect it to work with an internet cafe'.
I have included in your mail a test account to try out.

Thanking You
Jason

jgoosen, I would also like to know about using it for an internet cafe, keep this string posted. Currently we use 3 accounts a month. A Custom Package would benefit us as well

Well nocap gave us a test account and we currently testing it so far very good....there is improvement on int surfing :) the only thing is the max you ever get is around 32KB/S since it routing the data back and adsl upload speed is only 256k (32KB/S) Corret me if i am wrong...

To JGOOSEN. i HAVE AN INTERNET CAFE IN A PIZZA SHOP WITH 5 PC'S. I REACHED MY CAP IN 2 ENJOYABLE DAYS.(A BIT LIKE HAVING SEX). THEN THE REALITY SET IN, SLOWER THAN DIAL UP SPEED. SO I CONTACTED NO CAP. I TRIED THE R99 FOR A DAY AND THEN SWITCHED TO THE R299 DEAL. WITH ALL FIVE PC'S ONLINE DOING STUFF IT WORKS PERFECT. I FIND THAT MOST PEOPLE USING ICAFE'S TEND TO USE HOTMAIL AND YAHOO, SO THE BANDWIDTH IS FINE. PLUS THE FACT THAT I'M RUNNING KAZAA IN THE BACKGROUND GETING A LITTLE BIT OF MUSIC. (I NEVER SAID THAT).LOL. ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT I CANNOT GET EDONKEY TO RUN AT ALL. I THINK IT DISLIKES A PROXY. EMAIL ME. ROD
