your Noise Margin looks okay....mine is US 12 and DS 31! but your Attenuation DS looks a little high but not so that that should make your line drop....(anyone els has a comment, i am kinda a noob but my bro works for telkom so i have some kinda insight)

so long as the Attenuation dont go above 31db...

Path Mode mite swith few time between "fast path" and "Interleaved Path" which mite make the line loose sync.

try setting your routers ADSL standards to automatically negotiate with remote DSLAM on trained Modulation... i have a 4meg line a found that adsl2+ works best for me... but i am a novice hehe

Also, look out for flourescent lights, CFL bulbs, transformers, exposed wiring etc. near your telephone lines inside your house and on the outside wall. These items generate AM noise on the line which can cause frequent disconnections.

My attenuation is 46.0db (4mb) and I never get line drops...

I would say your problem is that you have too little DS noise. But from what I understand Telkom can easily fix this? Your attenuation indicates that you are reasonably close to the exchange so that shouldn't be the problem, but I think the noise should be about 15+
