Anyone know what the rules and regulations regarding noisy pit bikes?

There is a punk that rides his pit bike around from morning to night, I hear him at least 4 times a day and sometimes even at night. You know when something is so loud it actually shakes you to the core, almost like you wanna puke its so loud.

I don't normally care for such things, but its driving me mad. What can one do?

Well if it's on a public road these things aren't roadworthy and therefore you could complain based on that fact alone.

But the fact that you say it's so loud it shakes you to the core makes me wonder if your definition of a pit bike is correct because they generally aren't that loud. Irritating sure, but not loud per se.

what is a pit bike?

Small little MX looking bikes, normally half the size of a normal bike.

Yeah I don't think it even has plates. I'm gonna get a photo next time he blasts past and maybe someone can confirm if it is indeed a pit bike, im pretty sure it is.

Im also going to take a sound clip of it. ;)

Sounds like an MX race bike to me.

KTM or other big brand name? That would explain the loud at least.

Pit bikes are very small in capacity and normally only really possible for kids to ride.

Anything bigger is a proper bike.

Sad part is I used to ride motocross, so I should actually have more info :D

I doubt it is a big brand bike, unless they started making bikes with only 1 gear? This bike has no gears by the sound of it, just one constant drone. It sounds like a gigantic hair clipper.
