Hi

Got cell c sim, have 3,5G signal (3.6MB/s) , BUT only connect with 460kb/s...how do i get my full 3.6MB connection???

The modems port is set at max 460800...it cant go higher...so how do i set it to unlimited or to 3.6MB????

Thx

3.6 Mb/s = 475 kB/s, meaning you are already getting 97% of your max speed.

fixed :)
3.6 Megabits = 460.8 Kilobytes
note your maximum conection speed is 3.6 megbits (not Bytes) (small b not capital B)
and im guessing (ands so is asfaak) that you are calculating using your download speed in Kilobytes
so as sfaak says, you are conecting prety much corectly.
if we are both wrong please go to speedtest.net and run a test and paste your results here and then et us see what you get

i connect with 460kbits/sec...ky download is 53kbytes/sec....

this is what i get with 3.5G active on my phone with Cell C, with 7.2 coverage, with port speed set to max 912*** bps

with vodacom, i connect to with 912***bps set to max, i connect with 912kb/sec and download 125kB/sec...

Im at vodacom, but want to use cell c, due they faster (sepose to be) and i have bad signal indoor here, and the 900 network helps a lot ....

form what i recall when i was using my 5800 as a modem, i couldnt set the modems speed higher then 460800 but i would still be able to conect at higher rates, when i did a speed test
