Nokia 6710 Navigator from Vodacom

I just read the reviews of the 6710 Navigator and I want to upgrade to this phone. I see that MTN is already advertising it, and their prices are good! I wonder when Vodacom will be getting it and if they do, what their prices will be. If too expensive, I'll rather port to MTN and get it from them. Anyone know if Vodacom has it or when it will be available?
 
If Vodacom gets this phone, I will port to them. I'm due for an upgrade now & will be eligible to port 5 Jan 2010. So tired of MTN. :mad:
 
Ure local Vodashop/4U Store/Chatz Cellular store will be able to advise on Nokia 6710 deals from the 7th of next month...but yes...it is being released. I just dont want to give pricing now in case I get hit on the knuckles. :eek:

Ok thanks. Will be able to port in Jan anyway, that is if I decide to go that route. MTN should have new pricing out next month as well.

Ok, lets have it. I've checked the Vodacom site & cannot find any deals for this phone. What is the pricing?
 
Sitting with a vodashop book infront of me
Page 33 Nokia 6710 top left, as mentioned before the pricing is not to bad, available on pretty average packages.
 
Got one from the vodashop in strand street CT, weekender p.m. + R499 payin. 2 prong charger, car charger, windshield mount, 2gb microsd, usb cable (the awful tiny one) all in box.

Tell us how it is pls. How long is the Navigation license valid for?

Lifetime navigation license: Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Nigeria, Swaziland, South Africa

The 6710 does what it says on the box, the dash mount makes it usable as a GPS; phone & s60 is pretty good.
