I feel like there is some parts of this story missing? Did you install and remove hacked software in the day that you had it? Where did you order it from that it took 4 months arrive, or was it laying in a box for some months? Also, why would a 1 day old phone not have a warranty?

Ordered it back in April, was in SA two weeks later, thanks to SAPO I got it Tuesday.
Opened the box yesterday and set about restoring the original firmware in order to sell it.
Due to the firmware being changed I seriously doubt it is still under warranty.

For more background on these Nokia 7 phones see : https://www.techmesto.com/fix-a-nokia-7-stuck-on-android-logo-or-not-receiving-android-updates/

Edit: Some sellers of these phones are even selling their hacked firmware as a feature claiming : "To ensure system stability, OTA is not supported."
