Nokia 701 - User Experiences

Hi,

After reading this article I'm thinking about upgrading my N8. Now I'm not a Belle fanboy but I'm really used to it. I'd like to get some user feedback from guys that have it, esp after the FP1 update. (Has it rolled out in SA yet?)

I haven't used Android so I can't really comment there, but obviously from the reviews and popularity, it sounds like a great candidate but I'd need to get some recommendations on a phone around the price of a 701. Recommend away.

I have an iPad 2 and my wife has an iPhone 4, so I'm quite familiar with the whole Apple ecosystem - some things suck, others are really good. Not really keen on an iDevice for now...maybe with iPhone 5....;-)

So basically, I'm looking for a new phone. The Nokia 701 has caught my interest but I'm open to an Android phone - maybe an HTC One S (dunno pricing on this tho).

Basically all Android phones, with regard to the UI, are the same. So look at hw & battery performance specs if you choosing between manufacturers and models.

Seems like Samsung Galaxy SIII is the benchmark.
