I want to buy one that is not locked to a contract

I don't see any benifit to Nokia.
HTC, Samsung both launched Win 8 Phones at the same time as Nokia.

If Nokia want's special treatment, they should adopt a Multi OS strategy like Samsung and HTC. MS would treat Nokia with more respect.

If there was a Lumia 920 with Pureview I would have owned it already.

Hell I would sell my left erm you know what I mean.

Sadly the closest I'll ever get is a N9 with a hacked version that doesn't even support the device properly.
