Technically I think it's correct to say it was made by MS under Nokia branding.

The Nokia acquisition was only finalised on 25th April. The android phones were announced in Feb and released in March

So sad. Reckon if Nokia went the Android route they would still be tops.

They'd be dead even before they sold to Microsoft.

It wasn't Android that won. It was Samsung. Just look how all the other Android handset makers flounder. See the wood for the trees.

If Apple can make the hardware and sell it at under R1,500.00, surely others can?

I'm guessing Apple don't make any profit on the Apple TV and thus the price.

Their core business is services.
