Nokia E50 and GPS Activation Problem

I have a Nokia E50 with the Garmin GPS Bluetooth thing, and also it comes with Garmin Mobile XT Software on a memory card which i put in my phone, and then when i load the application it asks me to enter a coupon code, so I do that and it says that a activation code will be smsed to me shortly, and once the activation code is sent to me via sms, it'll automatically activate, but that doesnt happen. the sms with the coupon goes out, I even receive a sms from Garmin but the software doesnt activate and the sms that i receive has no activation code in it.
I would have phoned garmin but unfortunately they are closed till tuesday.
anyone knows what could be the problem?

Lol I remembered looking for that stupid 10-digit activation code what a waste of time. hope they sort you out today.

Hi, I've got the same setup, but bought the E50 and GPS unit seperately, I tried using the CD to create the software on a MiniSD Card to work in my N73 but always got the error 'Card ID Not valid'. Finally gave in and bought a E50 and it worked first time. Did not have to enter any codes either. Will PM details of the ppl that assisted.

I finally came right today.
they had a problem on their side with the pc or something.
but all is good now. thanks for you guys help!
btw JK8, that stupid 10 digit coupon code was another story to find.
i also had a look at the serial number few times trying to make it 10 or 25 digits.

I got the same problem 9-digit coupon but phone requires 10-digit code, called Garmin - Closed, Called vodacom - Cant help but told me to call my vodashop, called vodashop they insist i must enter the number on coupon and have never heard of this problem and aventually told me to call Garmin. Anyone have a suggestion besides calling garmin??? Please.

Look at the cd sleeve that came with the garmin/nokia gps bundle, there is a label thats stuck on the cd sleeve. on that label there is the garmin helpline and below that is the 10 digit coupon code.
I also had the same problem looking for the coupon code but i eventually found it. let me know if you come right or not, if not, you have to wait till the weekend is over to call garmin.
