I would just like to know whether anyone is able to help me. I applied for an upgrade on Sunday 28 September 2008. Chose the Nokia E51 on an Offpeak 100 contract.
The problem is that, to date, the store where I applied (Mobile Solutions) cannot tell me when they are going to receive new stock. I was also told by the Mobile Solutions call centre to contact MTN head office. Head office confirmed that they are waiting on stock at the moment (this was at about 12:30 today).
I would just like someone to confirm what is happening wrt to that specific model. This is not the first time that this has happened. Initially I wanted to upgrade to the R39pm MyCall 100 plan, but waited 2 1/2 weeks for a Samsung J700, which never reached the store. After enquiring about it, the store told me that they will not be getting new stock of the J700.
