Nokia E90 Firmware Upgrade?

Hi guys,

I've been looking forward to upgrading the firmware on my Nokia E90 to something a bit newer. From what I've read on the net about the latest firmware is that it speeds up GPS location updates AND improves the general phone's responsiveness. Apparently the upgrade was available in S.A for a day before Nokia removed it again.

My current firmware version is V.07.24.0.3 which is WAY behind the latest one Nokia is offering overseas.

Any comments on this?:confused:
 
okay I've done some forum trolling and searching and I only have question that I'd still like to ask: What "generic" product code should I change my E90 to? I don't want to use the wrong product code and end up stuffing it around.

By the way, how do you see firmware version on the phone? Couldn't find it
 
I think the firmware upgrade for the E90 is called Tytn II, I did this upgrade, and found many many imrovements, like sub 10 second GPS locks, no bluetooth issues, etc.

On the other hand you might try http://my-symbian.com with questions on the other firmware upgrade.
