Today Nokia introduced the latest installment of one of the most famous form factors in mobile phones, the Nokia E90 Communicator. The new Communicator supports the most popular email and business voice solutions, as well as being High Speed Download Packet Access (HSDPA) enabled and boasting integrated Global Position System (GPS) functionality.

“We’re making it easy for business professionals to get mobilised, says Richard Vester, head of Nokia Enterprise Solutions in South and East Africa.

“Feedback from our customers shows that we are changing the way business is being done and the new devices are responding to the growing requirements of new generation business users. The Nokia E90 is the flagship of the Eseries range and will certainly further establish the credentials of the Nokia Eseries.”

The E90 is now based on the S60 software platform, standard across all current Nokia Nseries and Eseries devices. This makes a wealth of additional mobile applications available for its users.
It also has an integrated GPS and Nokia Maps application to provide help in finding routes and locating services. For increased personal convenience, the Communicator is equipped with an FM radio, a music player, a video player and two cameras — a 3.2Mpix auto focus camera with flash and a second camera for videoconferencing.

Combining the E90 with the Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite platform significantly enhances the potential for businesses to achieve new levels of productivity and competitive advantage.

The Nokia E90 joins the currently available Eseries devices, Nokia E50, E61, E61i, E65 and E70.
