Just when I started to like the phone.

Tell me guys. The Cellphone shops have a 7 day return policy. My E90 is starting to give me problems. It freezes, when I make calls I can hear the person on the other side but they can't hear me etc...

How does this return policy work? If I take the E90 back do they replace it with another E90 or can I take something else? I'm really disgusted in the E90. I should've gone for the N95 8GB because I know how good the N95 is.

Any info on this?

I never heard of the 7 day return policy..
Theres a 7 day Out of box failure policy maybe thats what you thinking of.

You usually only get it swapped out with less than 10min of call time, or something to that affect, otherwise they send it for repairs.

The E90 was a shocking phone, I'm glad I traded mine in. It was officially my last Nokia.

P.S. The only thing I do miss on the E90 was the web browse and internal screen res.

Why would someone want to buy a troubled phone for R7000? BTW Piesang, the phone now costs R7200 brand new from Vodacom.

I am prepared to offer 4k, and put up with any nonsense the E90 throws at me.

I'm going to swop it out tomorrow for a new E90. Going to sell the new one sealed in it's box. Then I'll get R6500 - R7000. BTW. I won't even sell my 1year old N95 for R4000.

I bought a 2 month old N95 for my old man for R2500. Used cellphones hold no value :-) Granted, if you can get someone to pay R6500 for the phone...I say go for it! If not, you'll just drop your price.

I did a Hard Reset, reinstalled the latest Firmware, uninstalled all the useless stuff such as ThinPrint, MailInstall, Insall BB, Podcasting and Worldmate.

Installed the apps I usually use most of the time and no problems at all. In fact, the phone is much faster then when it came out of the box.

got my dad the N95 8gb ... sealed in da box with 2yr warranty for R5k ... nice phone .. N95 is just a good phone ... no doubt!!

Piesang what do you think of the HTC Range, eg: HTC Touch and HTC Tytn II...

Piesang, is your E90 ok now after reinstalling the firmware? The problems you experienced sounds like software issues, and I will not sell an E90 if it's software issues (hardware is a different story). Software problems can be fixed. Get the original firmware back onto your phone if the problems persist. I believe you will be sorry later if you get rid of the E90 now for what seems like fixable problems.
