Nokia GPS software not working

I recently sent my N97 in for repairs but they where unable to repair it. Lucky me, they replaced it with a new one. Everything is working fine except every time I open the GPS it has the following message:
Cannot open application. Install latest version from nokia.com/maps.

I have already loaded maps through OVI Suite (have the latest version) yet it keeps on telling me the same thing.

Can any one help on this issue?

not the maps the actual version of OVI maps check under about what vershion you have the latest is v3.06
 
Very lucky to get new N97.
I am still stuck with N97 with no working gps.
Might sell it to a sucker soon!!!

Uninstall/remove it from phone. Then re-install from Nokia Suite on PC.

How would I check what version it is? It won't open the application at all. Keeps going back to the main screen.
 
Try > Settings > Application Mgr > Installed Apps
Could see version there.
Dont see mine in there, but i have Cooked Firmware installed so cant recall if it shows in there on normal firmware.

or just download the new versiont to overite the curent one from the OVIstore
